J.otDown
A Single Function SiteDescription:
J.otDown is a simple Internet-based notepad. The service is straight forward, once you navigate to the site you are presented with an empty page where you can start typing your notes immediately. Saving happens as soon as you pause or if you click on the save link. This in turn creates a link to the created notes page, which allows you to share it with anyone.
J.otDown uses are many, a few examples include:
- "To do" lists
- Jotting down ideas or reminders
- Sharing large chunks of text quickly with others

I really love this very simple facility, especially the automatic save. I have tagged (in delicious) all my notes so that I can get to them really quickly. My only gripe is the poor printing … when I print a note I get a thin left hand column of the first part only. I work from home and am out and about on appointments etc. all the time and it’d be really useful to print out jobs lists etc to take with me as I dash out the door. Anyone know how I can get round this without cutting and pasting into another application?
