Twe2 is a free Twitter SMS alerts service for people living outside the US. The service is straight forward; you create an account, add your mobile number, and start receiving your Twitter Direct Messages and @Replies by SMS.
The service is powered by the Wadja Messaging Network, and is funded by advertisement appended to the bottom of each SMS. The service is available for many countries and the list keeps growing.
Twe2 is the creation of Paul Kinlan and Paul Rawlings.
