VidTweeter is a cool service that allows you to play videos right on your Twitter page. To use the service, all you have to do is enter your username, paste the URL of the video, and click "continue". Now you have a link that you can share, and if in doubt, there is another link to test the video before you broadcast it to the world.

Splicd is a useful tool for people who like to share YouTube videos with their friends, but with a twist. In Splicd you can select just the portion you want of any YouTube clip and get rid of the extras. It is easy to use, just copy and paste the URL of the video, select from where to where you want the clip to be viewed, click continue, get the custom link and share.

Splicd.com allows you to isolate an interesting tidbit from a YouTube video and provides you with a link to share it with your family, friends, and colleagues.

Baleed Interactive Video is a video tag-surfing adventure. It grabs related videos from YouTube and displays them in a nice colored circles bleed. The displayed links are randomly selected tags from Baleed top searched tags. Once you start playing videos, a connector line is displayed and acts as a funnel to keep track of your already seen videos.

YouTubeTime is a cheatsheet for linking to a specific time in a YouTube video. It also strips out unnecessary bits of the supplied URL to keep it compact and clean.

So, in case you just want to show someone the part of a video that matters most and “cut to the chase”, then YouTubeTime is the the tool to use.

KideoPlayer is the safest way for your kids to watch videos online. Why would I say it’s the safest? Simply because it’s got a father behind it who makes sure what’s being played on his site.

Tom Ajello, the father I’m referring to, is not all about just safe, he also curates the most educational and most fun videos on YouTube for both kids and parents, and I say parents because the true wonderful moments any parent could have, are those that allow a parent to be a “kid” with the kids.

KideoPlayer is what I call a younger sibling of Poke’s Upl8.tv. The service is built on the same platform that allows easy video surfing by just hitting the spacebar, which in turn brings up the next video. The search feature Upl8.tv provides, is also available on KideoPlayer but with a very distinct feature, it only searches the “Safe” areas of YouTube.

Tom hopes that one day KideoPlayer would be part of the “tools and resources that parents can utilize to be better parents in the information age“. Well, Tom, hope no more, your creation comes at the top of my list.

Owaks is a video search engine out of more than 150 million records (from Youtube, Myspace, Dailymotion, Metacafe and the other best Video sharing websites). Beside the search box on the home page, you will find a the latest videos and a tag cloud for quickly accessing popular search terms. When a search is coducted results can be refined by source, tags, and date.

The service is currently available in English and French.

Quietube is video without the distractions, the clutter, the comments, and all the unnecessary noise. Now how’s that possible? Well, just add the bookmarklet to your browser and when you visit a supported video page (YouTube, Viddler, and Vimeo), just click it and watch in peace; serenity is bliss!

Speaking of quiet, I’m just gonna pause and let you watch how it goes.
